Commercial Refrigeration Repair & Installation

Refrigeration failures are measured in dollars of spoiled inventory per hour. We answer commercial refrigeration calls around the clock and carry the parts that keep product cold while a permanent repair is arranged.

Everything behind the kitchen line

Walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-in refrigerators and freezers, prep and sandwich tables, undercounter units, display cases, bar coolers, keg boxes, blast chillers and ice machines — for restaurants, convenience stores, grocers, bakeries, bars, florists and medical facilities.

Fast triage, then a permanent fix

First we stabilise the box: get temperature back under control and your inventory safe. Then we solve the root cause — compressor, condensing unit, evaporator fan, defrost timer or board, TXV or metering device, refrigerant leak, contactor, pressure control or door gasket and hinge.

Maintenance that prevents the 2 a.m. call

Scheduled coil cleaning, defrost verification, gasket and door-closure inspection, temperature logging, drain-line clearing and refrigerant checks. Health-inspection-ready documentation included.

Why most HVAC companies will not take the call

Commercial refrigeration is a different trade from residential heating and air. Different refrigerants, different controls, different failure modes, and the work happens in a kitchen at 6am or after close rather than in an empty house at 2pm.

That is why a restaurant with a failing walk-in usually calls three companies before finding one that does it. We do it, we have done it for years, and it is the reason we are not simply another AC company with a van.

Planned service is cheaper than emergency service

This is true of all equipment and it is emphatically true of refrigeration, because the cost of a failure is not the repair — it is the product inside the box and the hours you cannot trade.

Quarterly or semi-annual agreements cover coil cleaning, refrigerant and electrical checks, door seals, defrost operation, drain lines and control calibration, with a written per-unit condition report so you can budget a replacement instead of being ambushed by one. Sites on a schedule call us out of hours a fraction as often.

What it costs

Commercial diagnostic is $120, or $200 outside Monday to Saturday 8–5 and on Sundays. Rooftop unit tune-ups are $250 for the first unit and $200 for each additional one on the same visit — so a four-unit site is $850 rather than $1,000, because it is one trip and one set-up. Full pricing here.

Commercial Refrigeration — questions we get asked

How fast can you respond to a refrigeration emergency?

Commercial refrigeration is our highest-priority dispatch category, 24 hours a day, because the cost clock is running on your inventory. Call 469-919-7646 and tell us it is a refrigeration emergency.

My walk-in is running but not holding temperature — what is wrong?

Most often an iced-over evaporator coil from a defrost failure, a dirty condenser coil, a refrigerant leak, or a door gasket letting warm humid air in. All four are same-visit diagnoses.

Do you install new walk-in coolers?

Yes — new walk-in cooler and freezer boxes and refrigeration systems, plus replacement condensing units and evaporators on existing boxes.

Do you handle restaurants, or only retail?

Both, plus convenience stores, medical and dental practices, churches, warehouses and schools. Anywhere with a walk-in, an ice machine, reach-in cases or rooftop units.

Can you work outside our trading hours?

Yes, and for most kitchens that is the sensible way to do scheduled work. Emergency cover runs 24/7 at the after-hours rate, which we tell you on the phone before we dispatch.

We have several sites. Can you cover all of them?

Yes. Multi-site agreements are worth setting up properly rather than calling ad hoc — you get consistent reporting per unit, one schedule, and negotiated labor rates.
