80% or 90%+? Single, two-stage or modulating?

In North Texas the heating season is short but sharp. An 80% furnace is often the sensible economic choice; a 90%+ condensing furnace makes sense where venting allows and where you want the lower operating cost and quieter, longer cycles. Two-stage and modulating burners paired with a variable-speed blower deliver noticeably more even temperatures in two-story homes. We explain the trade-offs with numbers, not sales pressure.

Attic installs done right

Most homes here have the furnace and air handler in the attic — which is where a sloppy install shows up as water damage two years later. Every install we do gets a properly sloped secondary drain pan, a float safety switch, a sealed and insulated plenum, correct flue pitch and support, a service platform and light where needed, and a filter cabinet you can actually reach.

Commissioned and documented

We set the gas pressure to the manufacturer’s spec, measure temperature rise and static pressure, run a combustion analysis, verify the safeties, and hand you the readings along with registered warranty paperwork and a walkthrough of the new thermostat.
